The Role: Motor Vehicle Mechanic Technician

Location
Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire SL9 0JR, Nr London.
Hours
Full time – 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday; plus 8:30am – 12pm on Saturday mornings, MOT’s only, on a rota basis.
The Role
Mechanic/Technician with proven experience in a similar role with strong teamworking skills
- To carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to light vehicles;
- To carry out MOTs (beneficial but not essential).
- Driving Licence essential.
Key Responsibilities
- A good working knowledge of Auto electronics and Diagnostic systems;
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Good time keeping, social skills and a team player;
- Good communication skills, the ability to meet/speak with customers to discuss their vehicles and provide your expert, technical opinion;
- Maintain high customer service levels that leads to customer loyalty/retention and referrals;
- Liaise with the Service Office with regards to estimates/quotes and ordering of parts;
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge;
