Job Description

We are seeking a genuine, reliable, hard working and experienced Sage Accounts Administrator to work Monday – Friday full time. The role will incorporate a variety of accounts functions together with administration duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Working on a Sage Accounts System to include:
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Processing invoices
  • Credit control, dealing with any problems arising and sorting out queries.
  • Producing statements
  • Allocating payments
  • Setting up direct debits
  • Bank reconciliation
  • VAT preparation
  • BACS
  • Bank payments
  • Paying Sub-contractors (CIS) not essential
  • Excel
  • General Admin/telephone answering queries etc…

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of the full accounts process & sage
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Confident answering calls, dealing with queries
  • Hands on and able to communicate at all levels
  • Some Sage payroll knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

Hours, Salary & Location

Salary: £20k – £25k

Hours: Monday – Friday | 9am – 5pm

Location: Sutton Coldfield
