Operations Director
The opportunity has risen for an individual to join a growing sub-contractor architectural metalwork company as a Director.
With manufacturing facilities in the Midlands area and subsequent site fitting being carried out across the Midlands, North West and down into London we are a well-established and respected Bespoke Architectural Metalwork and Structural Steelwork with a firm order book of £1million plus going forward.
The individual will be offered the opportunity to invest into the company in return for an appropriate shareholding and subsequent annual dividend returns. Whilst the job role is Operations focused within an Architectural Metalwork Manufacturer / Fitting company, candidates demonstrating a solid background in other trades / skill sets may be considered.” Salary subject to candidates experience and potentially the scope to increase this in line with individual project profitability”
The company is in an exciting period of growth and expansion and we are looking to take on an Operations Director to help oversee a number of contracts across the West Midlands Region.
This is an interesting and varied role and would suit someone with experience in the construction/manufacturing industry and particularly with a supervisory or contracts managing background. A strong and confident communicator with good IT skills would be beneficial as would an ability to manage staff.
Experience in pricing new work would be a distinct advantage as would experience with architectural metalwork but this is not essential, experience with pricing new work in other construction/manufacturing disciplines would still be desirable.
Experience with dealing with site operatives would also be a distinct advantage.
Ability to work to financial budgets for each job would be highly desirable.
A good basic salary will of course be twinned with a share in the company profits.
There is some scope for negotiation/ flexibility regarding precise hours/days of work as the company is very keen to be open minded and understanding regarding this matter.
