JOB TITLE: Management Accounts Assistant
REPORTING TO: Financial Controller
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity to work with a growing management accounting team. The role will pair up with one other management accounts assistant with the main focus on the following areas:
To ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations are carried out across multiple bank accounts.Working with collections and accounts payable to ensure allocations are carried out accordingly.
To be responsible for looking after the Fixed Asset reconciliations and work with the shared service centre to ensure accurate record keeping.
To be responsible for managing all internal cash and credit card expenses, ensuring costs are recorded accurately and ensuring VAT is recording according to accounting laws.Working with employees and ensure timely payments are adhered to.
To be responsible for preparing general ledger journals and reconciliations for prepayments and some accrual accounts.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
·Inputting data into daily cash flow statements
·Setting up urgent manual payments from Payables or Payroll
·Multiple bank reconciliations
·Fixed Assets Reconciliations and maintenance
·Prepayment and accruals reconciliations
·Raising Purchase Orders
·Assisting with month end activities
·Journal preparation and posting
·Providing support to other colleagues when needed and other duties as and when required.
·Very high level of organisation and communication skills.
·Outstanding attention to detail.
·Excel, Bank reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Purchase ledger, Setting up payments, Finance background, IT skills.

·Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
·Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
·Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
·Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
