SENIOR FINANCE ASSISTANT
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently and think for themselves.

Key Responsibilities:
Posting cash receipts / payments to ledgers.
Reconciling bank accounts and some nominal accounts, including posting prepayment and depreciation journals.
Authorising invoices on Sage and collating stock invoices ready for payment by the due date.
Preparing the weekly payroll for review.
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts.
Assisting the wider team with financial queries and general office duties.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in accounting software (ie Sage) and Microsoft Applications
